Amy’s Week 1 Day 5 – Going on a Mostly Raw Food Diet

I have always loved the results the raw foodists get, but I can never seem to take the plunge to “go all the way”. So I decided that i’d take a happy medium by going almost all the way. By that I mean, I am going to add a ton of raw foods to my diet instead of subtracting the cooked foods.
Over time the raw foods will take up more and more of my diet because I wont be as hungry for the cooked foods.
Here was my diet diary for today:
Breakfast – Smoothie with bananas, strawberries, maca root, wheatgrass & ground flax seeds.
Lunch – I ate two big sandwiches on toasted whole grain bread with miracle whip, avocados, tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
Dinner – A huge plate of romaine salad with ranch dressing, tomatoes, avocado and one salmon burger patty cut up inside.
Exercise – I worked out for about 20 minutes on my elliptical while I watched Ugly Betty. I love that show!
I really love raw food, I really do.
