Amy’s Week 1 Day 7 Diet Screw Up and Some Good News

Today I over ate to the point of a tummy ache. My husband, kids and I were out of town and were near a really great Chinese restaurant so we picked up a ton of take out and well… you can only guess what happened.
My Diet Screw Up
Breakfast – This morning I got up early and went to a church pancake breakfast and had 3 pancakes.
Lunch – Pigged out on Chinese Food – Vegetable Lo Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice and some Sesame Chicken.
Dinner – Left Over Chinese Food.
All the food ended up making me feel really tired so to top it off I had a Dr. Thunder (You know the Wal-Mart brand for Dr. Pepper).
I didn’t exercise this evening because my diet was so crappy today that I guess I felt like I sort of “blew it” for the day. Tomorrow starts Week 2 and I vow to do better in Week 2 than I did in Week 1.
Now for the Good News
This morning, yes before I overate, I got on our new scale and weighed myself plus took a body fat calculation. I am at 137.6 lbs and 22.0% body fat!
So I have actually lost 5.4 lbs this week! However, I doubt I am still that low after today.
At least I know I am making good progress! Which is a step in the right direction.

We are going to also take pictures of us (Elizabeth in a sports bra and shorts) and me in a pair of shorts showing off my huge belly. Tell Jaron he will love it!

One more thing and then we need to get to bed! Try and remember that if you “blow it” on one meal, there is always the next one to do good on! This is our philosophy if it happens to us. Have the same attitude about exercise. The whole “blow it” theory got us as fat as we are now. If we had changed our thought process sooner, we wouldn’t be having to do a challenge!

Elizabeth and I agreed that it would only be right for us to take digital pictures of our weight on the scale and then post them on the website. We also agreed that we will only weigh ourselves on Sunday, since that is when we officially started the challenge. Please post a digital picture of your weight on the scale ASAP. We will be posting ours tomorrow.
