Doing P90X After Pregnancy



My son is going to be 6 weeks old on January 20th so my husband and I decided to start doing P90X for the very first time starting on January 18, 2010. We have both not exercised much and are way out of shape.

I gained a bunch of weight during the pregnancy going from 144 lbs pre-pregnancy to about 185 lbs. I am currently 173 lbs and would like to get down to about 125 lbs by the time summer hits.

We decided to do P90X lean first since that is what Tony Horton recommends for extreme results. In his Bring It On video he says to do Lean then Classic then Doubles for the biggest results so that is what we are doing.

I will be posting on our progress as we go along. Tomorrow we will be doing our before fitness test and measurements. I am not looking forward to it, but I need to assess where I am at. I want to have more children in the future so I want to get back in tip top shape before that happens.
