Glen’s Week 1 Day 5



Food diary:

Breakfast — 2 eggs, 2 pieces turkey bacon, 8 oz. V8

Snack — 11 baby carrots and 2 tbsp of peanut butter

Lunch — leftover steak and oven-roasted vegetables

Snack — 24 almonds, 1 cheese stick

Dinner — salmon fillet, green salad (2 c. salad mix, 1 roma tomato, 1/2 avocado, 1/4 c. mushrooms, 1 tbsp ranch dressing)

Dessert — 2 sugar-free hard candies

Exercise: 10 minutes on elliptical trainer, 15 minutes of weights (legs and abs), 20 minutes on bike

Thoughts:  I feel like each day is getting easier.  I am looking forward to working my body.  I talked with a friend today who informed me about a mini-triathlon that they do each year near Park City.  It’s a 800 meter swim, 2-3 mile run, and 10-15 mile bike ride.  I would LOVE to do that.  That is one of my goals, to train and participate in that sometime next year.  I would love to do it with Elizabeth.  It would be awesome!
