Jaron Week 10 Day 7 – Family in town

We have had family in town staying with us for this weekend and we once again binged some. I always feel like when I have family visiting that I have to eat things I do not normally eat to “entertain” them ie. pizza, soda, etc etc.

Both myself and Amy have not felt too great at all and immediately noticed a change in our moods and overall well being soon after consuming these empty caloric versions called food. We have discussed how we need to get away from this and stay strong and stick to what we truly enjoy putting into our bodies whether we have family visiting or we go to visit others.

What is nice though about life is there is always another day and you can start over and get back on track. I am still not sure how I want to exercise and I am curious about the childrens school and what the administration has decided about Physical education.

I felt that if the school had me performing physical education each day Monday – Thursday for most of the classes I would be getting more than enough physical activity each day, as I would include myself in the activities and sports with the children. I am actually excited about it, somewhat nervous at the same time.

I do not want to be a failure and have others look down on me and think I cannot be a good example or mentor to others especially children. I want to start back up on Monday exercising again and sticking with it, even if I do not feel motivated some days.

  1. Jaron, try to stay strong as possible. We know that it is hard to eat the way you normally do with family visiting. I think “have to” should never be an option. Be the example you say you want to be. I believe in you guys.
