Lose Weight Exercise – What Does Work?

Wanting to lose weight is a goal that most of us have. And a huge percentage of the people belonging to that group of “most of us” would end up going through some fad diet or would end up joining an expensive weight loss group membership only to end up losing 1 pound in 2 weeks and then gaining it back (or more) in another 2 weeks.

If you want to lose weight, exercise is your best bet, followed by strict calorie counting. This may not sound like something new but fact of the matter is, the advise that is usually given to you by friends who actually lost weight is true.

True and maintained weight loss cannot be achieved by joining a “cult” of people who eat prepackaged meals that a week’s supply could cost a plane ticket to your favorite exotic destination.

Sure, it can make you lose weight for a while but in the end, you end up eating the same food items because no one can really survive eating space foods or special shakes in lieu of real and actual edible food.

To lose weight, exercise may just be in fact your best option. Start with a 15 minute run to get your heart rate up. Follow it with a mean cardio routine for 20 minutes. Sculpt those muscles by doing some weights for about 15 minutes. Then, top it all off with another 15 minute sprint as your cool down.

If you do all these, plus you eat the right amount of calories, you will surely lose the excess weight.
